Resume/About Me.

A little about me and my story. I was raised in New Jersey and I enlisted in the Naval Reserves in 1984 when I was 19 years old. The time serving in the military had a large influence on me and my professional advancement in the private sector. While in the military I served as a logistics specialist who specialized in government contracting and I also learned a lot about accounting and material management. With my experience I attended Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ where I earned Associates Degrees in Accounting, Political Science and Philosophy. Shortly after graduating I began working in the financial services industry as a loan officer, insurance agent and financial advisor. That investment experience led me to open a venture capital firm in Austin TX. We catered mostly to high net worth clients with large tax liabilities. I learned to listen closely to my clients and meet the needs of a large diverse group of people as a liaison of sorts. Partnering with local non-profit organizations helping them to raise funds for their various programs while helping my current clients. Establishing win-win relationships was a great experience for me.

I than sought out another opportunity to be sponsored for a CFP exam while working for Charles Schwab & Co. Once again, I learned more about planning. In August of 2010 I fulfilled my last contract to the Naval Reserves and I began taking more college course in writing and filmmaking. What I realized is that there is a lot of under supported talented people in filmmaking that lack a financial background to be able to sustain a successful career as a filmmaker. That opportunity helped give me some additional experience in finance and planning while growing as a filmmaker. The New Mexico Indie Film Collaborative is a small organization however it is positioned to make a large impact for New Mexico indie filmmakers. If you feel we may be able to grow together as filmmakers please reach out and schedule an appointment today. Let's succeed together.

While serving in the Navy Reserves I have worked for the following Units or Organizations:

SEAL Team Six

Special Warfare Group 2

Naval Weapons Station Earle--Weapons Handling Unit 504

SEAL Delivery Vehicle Teams 1 & 2

Military Sea Lift Command--National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Advanced Base Functional Component (ABFC). Supply Support Battalion (SSB) A Det 211

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion TWENTY-ONE (NMCB21)

 Combat Logististic Squadron Two

I served in 20 Countries and 12 US States.

The focus on my art is to tell stories based on what I have seen or participated in. I am passionate about veterans causes and activities around social justice or social injustices. My most recent project that has been optioned is entitled “Dupland.” Logline: When a veteran of Seal Team Six is arrested on false charges he uncovers the inner workings of a violent Antifa cell, he rallies his former teammates in order to prevent the next act of terrorism. This story is based on actual events that took place in Las Cruces, NM.

I focus a lot on the abuse of power, highlighting changes that occur in public policy when acts of violence are used to make changes instead using more appropriate means. My writings have shown how wealth has been accumulated illegally and been protected by a network of evildoers.

I feel compelled to make art because of what I have seen and I don’t like to see further injustices or people looking away from facts. My vision is to tell stories that haven’t been told by the perspective of people who were harmed. To make a difference in a healing process as well as prevention of additional injustices.

My intention is to have people think more clearly about right and wrong instead of having an allegiance to a party or organization. I think if people see the other side of events it might lead to a more open society where people with different means can be on equal footing with people or organizations currently with greater means and influence.
